Technologies of Transformation
With enough practice and determination, it is not hard to reach an experience of complete openness to the universe, inspiration to be alive, and joy of being connected to the reality. It is rather difficult to remain in that experience, for the tendency is to always return to habitual way of being. With this kind of occurrence, it is easy to assume that the habitual mode of being is the natural and real way to be, while the experience of freedom is a hallucination, or at best a once in a while blessing from god. At SpiritPath, we believe that the experience of being free and alive is a natural, true reality, while the automatic and habitual way of being is an unnatural installment, created from living within the framework of society and supported by personal conditioning. In that case, if the conditioning was to be removed, the mind would be free to experience the natural state of liberation and connectedness, which is always naturally there. This view is equally applied to any area of life where one is lacking freedom and power, be it health, career, relationship or simply freedom to be. Any kind of difficulty is a symptom from a habitual way of being, that stagnates the perfect and spontaneous universal flow of occurrence.
With that in mind, SpiritPath utilizes different technologies of transformation with intent to encounter and transform these automatic modes of perception as a means to purifying the mind. Once the mind is pure, there will no longer be any gravity of tension that will pull consciousness away from natural spontaneity, wellbeing and inspiration of life that comes from simply being here and now. We integrate different practices from different spiritual paths of liberation to achieve a well directed purification with the constant flow of mindfulness.
The process can be broken down into three areas: Healing, Transformation and Liberation.
Healing deals with uncovering potential disbalances, rooted in the contents of the mind, and bringing them up into conscious awareness. The disbalances include a mix of habitual ways of being, accumulated reactions, stale concepts and ideas about the world and self, outdated decisions from the past that still have power in the present, self-limiting stories and descriptions, judgments, etc… These disbalances may already be manifesting themselves through different physical, mental or emotional symptoms and diseases, or maybe dormant deep in the mind, awaiting their time for reactivation. In the process of healing we distinguish these in-authenticities though natural and spontaneous progression of events during the retreat. We utilize self observation, coaching and conversation, as well as passive meditation and self inquiry to identify forms of personality that influence the mind from behind the scenes.
Transformation deals with transforming these habitual modes of being to subtler states. Here we will utilize Yoga, Chi gong exercises, body work and energy work, shamanism and power plants, along with certain intellectual distinctions that will help us get to the crux of the matter. By fully acknowledging, accepting and letting go, we will dissolve gross energies of ego in the subtle flow of pure being.
Liberation is a plunge into the unknown, the final step of letting go of created patterns of perception, so that they can never arise again. The entire being must go into chaos and realign again with the pure flow. Such a move takes a strong degree of trust and acceptance, as well as complete awareness of the issue in question. Many people report an experience of death/rebirth, intense anxiety, confusion and fear, a feeling of total uncertainty, like the rug has been pulled from under the feet, and other similar life altering experiences. Liberation comes after enough work has been done around discovering and transforming an issue and intensity has been accumulated towards letting it go for good.
