The Initiation is an integral part of the SpiritPath discipline and is aided by experienced native shaman, who provides a living link to the ancient Amazonian shamanic culture of the visionary plant Ayahuasca. The workshop provides the participants with different perspective on the divine wisdom of the universe, which allows them to encounter life in a more objective way. Through continuously living with the shaman and participating in plant diets and ceremonies, each participant will be directed towards peace, tranquility, connection to the Universe, and stupendous celestial knowledge, that is available to each sincerely seeking soul.
Throughout the workshop, the initiates will learn about many powerful curative and spiritual plants and remedies, which are part of the native Amazonian culture. They will also learn the Ancient Divine Icaros (equivalent to Mantras in the Orient) - the knowledge that has reached us through the hundreds upon hundreds of generations, starting from the enlightened times of the Great Ancestors of humanity. Since the current traditional knowledge of the shamanic culture has lost the clarity of direction and purity of intent, through generations of ritual repetition, it is up to each participant to practice outmost mindfulness in order to keep a sober perspective throughout the learning process.
The duration of the workshop is from 1 week, for the basic introduction, to as long, deep, and profound as participants would be willing or capable.
Please browse our Mysteries of the West page for a more detailed description of the Shamanic culture, Ayahuasca Vine, and other Medicinal and Spiritual plants available in the Amazonian Rainforest.
Come and fill yourself with natural life and bodily knowledge of the Universal Harmony of Mother Nature and its gifts, gracefully bestowed on us through the heart.

Don Luis is our long time teacher of Ayahuasca and a good friend. For the last 25 years he has been following the path of Ayahuasca discipline in a unique way. Although he comes from the Witoto tribe, known for working with both the Ayahuasca and Coca, his path is not solely rooted in the tradition. All his knowledge and experience comes directly from the guidance provided by the plants and mother nature. In addition, he has had extensive contact with us and other westerners, who follow different paths of transformation. Because of his openness to learn and share, he absorbed and integrated other techniques and descriptions into his path, which expanded his world view and took his perception beyond traditional concepts, that strongly dominate the present Ayahuasca culture of the Amazon.
Currently, Don Luis is living with his family, in a small center deep in the primary rainforest. The center can be reached in a couple of hours by boat and trekking. He continues his discipline by drinking Ayahuasca and other plants few times a week. His wife, who is also a shaman, takes care of visitors and conducts Ayahuasca ceremonies when Don Luis is away. There are a few huts around the premises, one hut with a shower and a toilet. There are also a few raw huts deep within his land for solitude dieting. Outside of SpiritPath scheduled retreat dates, Don Luis stays home and is happy to receive visitors.
