VIPASSANA

Vipassana, in Pali, means "to see things as they really are". This ancient technique of liberation was mentioned in the Hindu Vedas, and was re-discovered by Guattama the Buddha over 2500 years ago. For the last 2000 years, Vipassana, which was the practical essence of Buddha's teachings, was lost to humanity, and was passed down the generations through a lineage of masters. Thirty years ago Vipassana returned to India and is now being taught in over 50 countries world wide.
The technique involves penetrating the entire field of mind and matter through a simple process of continuous observation. One would have to try a course to discover why Vipassana is called "the art of living".
