Meditation
The most difficult and the most effective technique in the Orient is considered to be a passive meditation posture. It also counts as one of the accomplishments on the path of a shaman, when even during stupendous intensities, the Maestro is able to stay clear minded, calm, and unaffected, observing the situation in a detached and objective manner, as if in a dream.
The first major leap in learning to meditate, is to encounter an intimate connection with the chosen meditation technique. In addition to simply practicing, a practitioner must develop a clear inner sense and understanding of the process he is involved in. In a case of passive meditation, Buddha, for example, constantly repeated in his teachings the same universal truth, instructing his followers to bring awareness to the body. Buddha is mentioning the human body as a universal symbol of Truth and One reality - the Buddha nature.

The main directive of meditation is to bring the awareness into the moment, as being pointed out in all world cultures. It is done though utilizing rhythmical movements, sounds, captivating activities, body and mind awareness techniques, and many other ways, and is directed towards going into illuminating trance states, where bodily realization can takes place.
The process of meditation begins with conscious continuous repetition, which is aimed at inner silence or deactivation of inner dialogue, while being aware of the bodily sensations, without any mental reaction. The body should be fully at ease with the rising intensity, accepting and relaxing with every sensation.
The magical core of all ancient sacred practices is openness to the universal energy through universal feeling of Love & Compassion. It must be coupled with a clear intent for the practice, well established in the mind of the practitioner. This intent is planted to germinate and is able to fully bloom in a magical clearing of inner silence. With enough practice of meditation, the intensity of the moment and bodily sensation becomes so unbearable, that it becomes a challenge to maintain inner equanimity and peace. That is the moment when the Spirit starts "to knock on the door" of the individual consciousness. Since the unbending intent of meditation, as a spiritual discipline, is to return to the natural state of being, which is the origin of creation and a completely harmonious state of Oneness, the transformation of consciousness takes place at every moment of Inner Silence. Once the momentum of Inner Silence increases sufficiently, the universal divine symbol of the mold, that makes up the human body, starts entering into the physical reality and transforming the individual consciousness down to the subatomic particles. This type of transformation can be allowed to take place only through Universal Compassion and acceptance on the part of an individual.
The process of meditation is intimate and unique to each aspirant. The road to Enlightenment is actually a process of Individualization & maturity, which takes place through taking full responsibility for being & acting in this world. Even though the same universal divine archetypes share the whole universe, each individual manifests them in a unique manner. The real Tao can be neither seen, nor described, it is the Un-manifest. A middle way is a state of complete objectivity, and it is possible to step fully in the middle only when the consciousness is mature enough, as to stay in inner silence, encountering every moment of life or death in the totality of being.

Meditation is a journey through infinitely many states of mind, being & layers of enlightenment, with one direction towards a Total Liberation of all Sentient Beings.
Meditation begins and ends with sincerity, compassion, strong determination & unbending intent of universal Love. It is the same state of bodily unity, inner silence & glow of life that belongs to the universal human body, which is at the center of all world cultures. A passive meditation is a path of a warrior for freedom. As mentioned in the Taoist culture of China - A true warrior is calm, objective, unemotional & non-aggressive, facing death in the full passion of life.
May all beings be free
